It went exactly as every American sports fan dreamed it would yesterday, six earned medals in a single day... Not bad for a days work! White, Vonn, and Davis were the stars of the day, each winning a gold medal. With this huge haul for the Americans, it gives them a lead in the gold AND combined medals total so far at these Olympics. With over a week remaining, things are looking good for that number of medals (14 as of Wednesday night) to get even higher.

After a beautiful and (nearly) flawless opening ceramony, we are finally underway with the winter Olympic games in Vancouver! Over the next two weeks, we will witness athletes from all over the globe compete at the highest levels for gold in their respective sports. CTAthletes.com staff will bring some highlights of these 2010 winter games to the forum, and we hope members will discuss the many amazing stories happening daily. Indianapolis Colts -- New Orleans Saints
Who will win this highly anticipated matchup? The number 1 seeds from the AFC and NFC divisions will play tonight in a game many hope/expect to remember. It's that wonderful time of year again, but not always a favorite for a determined athlete. Your gym and/or sport club close for break, food tempts us constantly, and friends and family keep you so busy that training becomes difficult to fit in your tight schedule.
